Claire joined Gibson Sheat from Southall and Associates where she worked from 1999 until the firms merged in January 2002. She has previously worked in the public service industry and been a partner in Waikato law firm Harkness Henry.
Claire acts for a wide variety of successful SME clients, and has considerable experience in company and commercial law, business structuring, property, trusts, employment law, and franchising issues. Claire leads the Gibson Sheat franchising team and is a key member of the employment team.
Claire's community involvement includes the Clare Foundation, and she is currently the Chair of Lawlink. She enjoys the gym, food and wine, plus retail therapy, and loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
